Delivery Schedule:  As a result of ongoing supply chain issues, we will endeavor to dispatch all orders received during the month of August, 2022, 2 business days, (Monday thru Friday) from the date of order.

All orders are discreetly & securely dispatched in a plain box via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed or Royal Mail Tracked. If there are any problems with your order we will endeavor to contact you by email. For transactions within the UK you should expect to receive your ViruLite unit within 1-2 business days from date of dispatch. You maybe able to choose an expedited service at checkout and if your order is received by 10AM (Monday thru Friday) your ViruLite unit will be dispatched on the same day (Monday thru Friday). If you make a purchase and choose Special Delivery (subject to availability) at the checkout stage we may switch this to a next day courier service to ensure a rapid and secure service.

International orders normally take 10-12 business days to arrive from date of dispatch, but we will advise accordingly if any item may take longer.

If you have not received your item within this time please email us at enquiries@virudist.co.uk and we will investigate.

Returns Policy: Before returning items to us, please contact us at enquiries@virudist.co.uk quoting your order number. A copy of your invoice/receipt should be enclosed to help us identify your returned order.

Due to the ViruLite device being a medical device any item must be returned to us, unopened, undamaged and unused, with any/all security seals intact, within 7 working days of receipt. The cost of the goods will be refunded to you when we are in receipt of the returned goods, as per the distance selling regulations:

The Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) 2000 cover purchases made where there is no direct contact between vendor and consumer. It does not apply to items bought for business, fairs, exhibitions or showroom use.

Under these regulations you can cancel your order from the moment your order is received until seven working days after the goods are received. You do not need to give a reason for cancellation or return (but to improve our service and products we would like to know why the item is unsatisfactory) – just e-mail enquiries@virudist.co.uk quoting your order number and your wish to cancel/return in accordance with the DSR 2000.

Once the goods have been sent you will need to arrange and pay for the return delivery. We suggest insuring the goods against loss or damage and retaining a proof of postage receipt (free from the Post Office). The goods must be unused and be received in the original condition including all accessories, packaging etc.

A refund of all monies including the initial postage and packing charges will be made upon receipt of the returned goods and within 30 days of cancellation.

Under the distance selling regulations, paragraph 3.49, if you choose an express delivery service at checkout (e.g. Special Delivery or Courier service) we will be unable to refund the extra charge you had paid for this service once we have carried out your instruction.

Returning an item outside the 7 working day period:
If you wish to retun an unused and unopened (with all security seals still being intact) item after the 7-working-day period please contact us  as we may be able to offer a partial refund.

For any warranty repairs/replacements, the customer does not have to pay the return postage.

Missing goods/damaged items: If items are missing from an order or are received damaged, it must be reported within 3 days of receipt of the order.

Product Logo / Branding: All images shown are for illustration purpose only & actual product and branding may vary due to product enhancement implemented at the discretion of the OEM.

Customs Policies: Each country has its own Customs Policies/charges and whilst we endeavor to keep up to date with these, we do not know every countries policy. If you are uncertain of your countries import policies/charges we strongly recommend checking with the Customs Authority in your own country to see that the goods you order will not be blocked by Customs.

We clearly describe the ViruLite device on all Customs Declaration documentation, which are then applied to the packaging for Customs to see. Some countries charge Import Duty on goods going through customs. It is up to the customer to research the policies for their country and to pay any duties/charges imposed/required to allow importation into the country. All/any import charges (duty, etc) required by the relevant authorities are the customers sole responsibility and ViruDist LTD take no responsibility for the same.

WEEE Regulations: The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge, although you would need to pay for return postage.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

  • Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
  • Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Virudist Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer bought a ViruLite unit from us we would accept their old ViruLite unit and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

Please note that you can, if you prefer, use a locally approved waste recycling centre such as those found in council waste-sorting facilities.

Online Dispute Resolution: Please note that there is a facility provided by the European Commission that is dedicated to help consumers and retailers resolve their disputes without needing to go to court.
